Who the _ _ _ _ do you think you are?
Delirium tremens from your activities at the bar
Fixated you on the salacious cigar.

You didn’t ask the whys or hows
‘Bout Hillary’s obscene profits selling cows.
Or was it pork or spam or hams
Or influence peddled to foreign lands?

For political reasons your mind was bent
On taking down the president.
After all the money you have spent
The only result: Willie is penitent.

And what about those kids of mine?
In front of the TV all the time,
I thought they were watching nursery rhymes
Instead they were fed the testimony, every line.

Despite what they see on CNN
I’ve got to make them understand
Willie does not represent every man
For them I have a better plan.

I preach to them with regularity
To value truth and integrity
I also offer my apology
For the corrupt mess left to posterity.

My kids now think every lawyer is a schnook.
Just like the old days when Nixon said, "I’m not a crook!"
His dance with Lewinsky I can overlook.
That ain’t even a crime in my book.

But when he looks straight in the camera’s eye
And swears up and down he is telling no lie
Even his wife had to wonder why
On the day he forgot it was Monica’s tie.

We’ve had actors and phonies in the White House before.
Everyone knew this when they elected Clinton and Gore.
Now the Republicans have evened the score
Can we please get this baloney off the congressional floor?

Beware the backlash – the right’s back is against the wall
Especially since Gingrich has taken the fall.
I guess I’m too old, I don’t understand it at all.
How can the pres. get off on a phone call?
